I may be crazy (actually I realize there's no question about that), but I came up with this bright (?) idea to start my own personal blog just as a reference for myself of our preschool this year. I call it playing school because we pretty much just play. :) This is not a "real" blog...It is more of a journal where I can just record what we do each week. That way I can look back and remember AND I'll have all my preschool pictures in one place. That in itself would be quite an accomplishment for me. :) We shall see if I actually DO this or not. This is a goal...I have a lot of them and I'm REALLY good at writing them down. :) And I mean, REALLY, REALLY good. Most of my goals may never get done, but hey, they're written down. Don't judge me...I'm perfecting my list making skills. :) I hear list makers are in high demand these days, so if I ever get burnt out playing school I'll have another option. Can't say I don't plan ahead.
I LOVE school! I love most everything about it- maybe not checking papers so much but pretty much everything else. I would neglect lots of other work to focus on school stuff, perusing blogs, reading books, making lists :) and planning, and ultimately, actually DOING things with my kids. I usually have way more things I want to do than we can get done, because we don't spend all day doing school, but we all have fun. And that's mostly what I want to instill in my children...the LOVE of learning!
I should add that many of my ideas are not my own and I'll try to credit where I got them, but I might not always remember where they came from...So here goes...
